Septune is owned by licensed plumber Andrew Sharp (29 years’ experience) and led by environmental scientist and waste water specialist Matthew Grinter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Generally, a wastewater report is required to accompany a section 68 approval to Install a waste treatment device or a human waste storage facility. We have qualified staff with the ability to generate these reports.
In New South Wales, new On-Site Sewage Management (OSSM) systems or changes to existing systems require prior approval from under Section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993.
Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems use both anaerobic and aerobic treatment to process and breakdown effluent. This produces a higher-quality effluent that allows the water to be surface irrigated.
Yes, we can also design and sell primary treatment systems. However, the approval process to design and install a primary and the cost involved is usually substantially greater than an approved secondary treatment system or aerated wastewater treatment system.
It is not only mandatory with an approved system, but also essential to have a trained service technician attend site to ensure on-site sewage management systems are functioning correctly, and both public health and the surrounding natural environment is protected.
