On-site wastewater reports are required for Section 68 council approval in unsewered areas. Our reports include system-specific designs prepared by trained and accredited designers to ensure effective wastewater distribution.
For each site we assess soil characteristics, topography, vegetation and climate to determine appropriate treatment options.
We offer reporting at different levels to meet council and client requirements for Section 68 approval, typically including:
• Desktop assessment (requires an accompanying site classification)
• Level 1 site and soil assessment (site and soil characterisation)
• Level 2 site and soil assessment (site characterisation and soil chemistry)Septune provides wastewater reports for new residential and commercial developments, as well as for failing systems and system upgrades.
All reports follow relevant industry practices and guidelines to produce compliant, durable treatment solutions.

Quarterly servicing of an aerated wastewater treatment system (AWTS) is required once your system has received Section 68 council approval for an unsewered property. Our trained and qualified service technicians ensure your AWTS runs smoothly, efficiently and in compliance with local regulations. Regular quarterly servicing is not only a council obligation but also essential to maintain optimal treatment performance and ensure effluent is suitable for above-ground irrigation.
Septune technicians service all AWTS brands (not limited to Taylex). We will notify you by text or email when your quarterly inspection is due, carry out the inspection, and provide a post-inspection report to both you and the council.
Services are offered at competitive industry rates. Discounts are available for multiple Septune clients within the same subdivision, and we can provide a discounted annual contract as an alternative to quarterly billing.

If you have concerns that your system is not working properly or have been informed of issues with your system, we can have one of technicians diagnose the issue and organise the necessary parts and equipment to fix the problem. We are not limited to Taylex systems and can assist you with all your wastewater needs.
We had some issues with getting our On-Site Wastewater Treatment System passed by our local council. I was inexperienced in the approval process and Andrew and Matt helped us all the way through until we had all the boxes ticked and the system installed, commissioned and ready for use. They have up to date training and made suggestions to our plans which saved us money and improved the use of our land. I would recommend them highly.— Paul Brooks, Burke and Douglas General Manager
